Septic & Zoning Rules, advice for an affected family

Walked a site with a lovely couple today who lost everything on East Mendocino. They already have a Like-4-Like design and we considered private lot clearing to protect the new hardscape they had installed in the rear yard and to preserve the septic system. In reviewing the design they had worked on with a friend, I pointed out a major zoning issue in their new design and they are taking the input back to their designer.

I prefer Heyday Build to be involved from the beginning – there are a lot of pitfalls not obvious to those not expert at County zoning rules – but we are sensitive to meet people where they are in the process and help them however we can.
